Merry Berry Christmas Card – Simply Sketch Saturday Challenge

Saturday, 30 September , 2017

Hello & thanks for you joining me today on our “Blog Hop” if you came from Karen Howell’s blog you are already hopping your way thought the projects, if you joined here, Welcome! and let me briefly explain how it works…

Each month we are given a theme/challenge and we can get our spin on it. What amazes me most is that even though we have the same sketch we all come back with different projects, hope you enjoy and continue checking the other projects by using the button below.

How crazy is that we are 13 weeks Till Christmas and with all the madness of shopping and deciding how to plan for all the food, its time for us to get the cards sorted.

So I’ve been looking beyond the Reds and Greens, we have this new InColor 2017-19 that I cannot get enough of it, ‘Berry Burst’ is bright and warm. My card today combines the use of resistant techniques using Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder with watercolour pencils.

I’ve used by Big Shot combined with Layering Oval Shapes to cut the window here and to cut Swirly and Snow Flake shapes used for embellishments. Love the sparkles!

Hope you enjoy and have a go, please share in our Facebook page.

Our next “Hop” is Angelina Clark for her blog just click on “Next Blog Button” below.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our blog and channel on YouTube so you will never miss a project!

Have fun and happy crafting!
